بدنا فى شابتر جديد امبارح وهو شابتر base materials 

فى البداية اتكلمنا على خواص المواد اللى تصلح تكون base material 

١- كيميائية : 

1-nontoxic and nonirritant 

2- non carcinogenic 

3-hygiene 

4- no bad taste or foul smelling 

٢- ميكانيكية : 

1-high modulus of elasticity 

2- high elastic limit 

3-flexural strength 

4- fatigue strength and impact strength 

٣- فيزيائية :

1- high glass transition temperature 

2-high thermal conductivity 

3- no dimensional change

بنقسم base materials لقسمين كبار على حسب المادة وهما : 

1 - Metallic denture base materials : 

ودوّل اتكلمنا عنهم فى الترم الاول زى gold alloys

2 - Non-Metallic denture base : 

اما دى كمان فى منها انواع وبيتقسموا على حسب طريقة التحضير ل : 

- heat cured   polymathy methacrylate

- Self cured polymathy methacrylate

- Pour type denture resins 

- High impact strength resins

Composition: 

بيكون موجود فى انبوبة و سائل 

1- the powder : 

- beads of polymethyl methacrylate polymer 

- Initiator : dibutyl phrhalate 

- Pigment 

- Inorganic particles 

2- the liquid : 

- methyl methacrylate monomer 

- Inhibitor : hydroquiuone 

- Crops linking agent 

- Plasticizers

تعالو بينا بقى نشوف البتاع دى بيتعمل ازاى 😅

- Mixing : 

بعد ما بنضيف الليكود للبودر فى  glass jar 

وتحصل عملية الخلط ، الخليط بيمر ب خمس مراحل فيزيائية 

5 physical stages 

 1- sandy stage 

 2- Tacky stage

 3- Dough stage وهى المطلوبة 

‎بعد كدا خواص الخليط بتكون مكروهة 

 4- Rubber stage 

 5- Stiff stage 

Factors Affecting Dough time : 

- Polymer/Monomer Ratio     طردى 

- Temperature                        عكسى 

- Molecular weight.                طردى. 

- Copolymerization                 عكسى 

- Size of the polymer.             عكسى 

بعد كدا تيجى مرحلة الطبخ 😅

Curing : 

وبيكون على مرحلتين 

Long cycle : 74 c 

                       8 hours 

Short cycle : 74 c 

                       1.5 hours 

          Then. 

Increase temperature of water bath for 

       1 hour 

او ممكن نريح دماغنا من كل دى ونستخدم الطريقة الجديدة
